  About George's Angels

Not surprisingly, the George's Angels Story begins with a man named George.

George was blessed with a wife named Winifred ("Winnie") and seven beautiful children.  The oldest, my brother, is an angel in heaven.

George was a brilliant yet humble man.  He was a history professor with a gift for teaching -he truly cared about the life and future of every one of his students.

George had great faith and was a devout Catholic -he loved God, his family and others - he always put others before himself.

-He was a gentleman and a scholar

-A real life "Christopher" -an example for all

-He was completely selfless and even referred to as "St. George" by one of his colleagues -the name was fitting.

In addition to all of the above, George truly was one of the KINDEST SOULS to ever live.  How do I know all this?  "George" was my dad.

George had a special relationship with many, including his own family growing up -his parents, his brother, his cousins, and of course his wife "Winnie" and all of his children.

Unfortunately for this world, George died in 1995 after battling cancer and suffering for many years -yet he never complained.  His faith, family, friends (and outstanding humor) sustained him through those years.  Even in the end, he was thinking of us and not himself.   -After he died, we found a letter on his desk that he had written to comfort us and assure us he was always with us though separated by time and distance.  His message is universal and worth sharing with others. "The Universal Note"

For decades, I have thought about doing 'something' to carry on my Dad's legacy of kindness.  The world needs more role models like him. While I cannot bring my dad back to life, I can share his Universal Note, his picture, pictures of those he cherished and some   of his personal notes and 'drawings' to me, all of which are the inspiration for George's Angels.

The story would not be complete without a special recognition and heartfelt thanks to Father Paul, Mary Jo, Marcella, and Jacqueline for being the catalysts here on earth who motivated me to bring George's Angels to life after decades of 'thinking about it'.

Will you join me in carrying on my Dad's legacy and  help Change the World One Kind Act At A Time?
